Returns Policy

Overview

If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your Southern Divide purchase, please return it to us in its original resaleable condition within 14 days of receipt, and we will replace it or refund your purchase price using the original payment method. Shipping costs will not be refunded unless the item is being returned because it is damaged or defective.

Returns

Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

Any item not in its original condition, including packaging, swing tags, proof of purchase, or items that are damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

We reserve the right to refuse a return if the above conditions are not met. We will ship items back to you if they arrive used or abused.

NOTE: These products are guaranteed under the Consumer Guarantees Act.

Consumer Guarantees Act 1993:
The Consumer Guarantees Act sets out minimum standards for goods sold. In the event that goods sold are not of good quality or are faulty, the customer has the right to a repair, replacement or refund.

Fair Trading Act 1986:
The Fair Trading Act is designed to protect the customer being mislead, either intentionally or unintentionally. This applies to all aspects of the promotion and sale of goods and services including: pricing; where the product was made; where the product is from; the meeting of New Zealand safety standards; availability of products in store and the sales techniques used. The Commerce Commission enforces the Fair Trading Act 1986.

Damaged goods or incorrect order upon arrival

If your order arrives damaged, incomplete or incorrect, please contact us. If we need the product to be returned to us, we will arrange this at our cost and ensure a replacement is on its way to you as soon as possible.


Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 20 days. 


Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.


Returns Instructions

Please follow the instructions below when packing and sending your product for return. It's important to note that these instructions must be followed in order for us to properly process your return. Please ensure the item is in its original condition, including packaging and swing tags. Pack the item carefully so that it and its packaging will not be damaged during the shipping process.

Include a copy of the packing slip or proof of purchase (included with your shipment). We will not be able to process a return for any shipment received without a packing slip or proof of purchase.

Use a secure shipping method to send the item so that it can be tracked, for example, Courier Post/Fedex. We are not responsible for items lost during shipping, and cannot process your return until the item is received.
